Welcome to La Grange Lavender Co.

In April of 2021, after much prayer and research, Matt and Kat purchased 20 acres in anticipation of starting a lavender farm. The land was primarily pastureland with the addition of an old barn. Its southward sloping terrain was perfect for lavender cultivation. They purchased a tractor and promptly began creating beds and preparing the soil. After a year of preparation and strategizing, they planted their first 700 young lavender plants. To date the couple now cultivates over 900 plants across four varieties, along with loofah and chamomile.

In 2023, they constructed a café and renovated the barn dating back to 1940. These building projects have allowed them to share their passion for lavender with visitors and introduce them to the beauty of their farm, educating them on the remarkable benefits and uses of lavender. Moreover, the renovation of the barn has resulted in a delightful and rustic event space.
